Best For

The most exclusive of safari experiences with small customized safaris enjoyed from a base of sheer luxury featuring gourmet dining experiences, award-winning wines and holistic spa treatments.

When to visit

Game viewing is excellent at any time of the year.  The dry winter season from May to September is generally considered optimal as animals congregate around waterholes. Days are bright and sunny, while nights are cooler. During the warmer season from October to April more rain falls and the landscape becomes lush and green, drawing migratory birds. November – March is birthing season and grants the best opportunity to see baby animals.

Serene Sanctuary

Inspired by the beautiful boulder-strewn Sand River, Singita Boulders Lodge features 12 glass front suites each with rustic furnishings and a private plunge pool. Providing a very luxurious back to nature experience, guests can join game drives and safari walks, indulge in lush spa treatments and enjoy gourmet dining. The temperature controlled wine cellar, featuring an award-winning collection, is built around the lodge’s natural boulders.

Luxury Family Homestead

A private safari lodge for exclusive use, Singita Castleton is an atmospheric African farmhouse with a swimming pool and tennis court, an ideal choice for families. Six double en suite cottages are scattered over verdant lawns shaded by mature trees. With covered verandas overlooking a well visited waterhole, you won’t even need to leave the homestead to see wildlife. Enjoy the service of a private field guide and tracker for the duration of your stay and expect to spot leopards, lions, rhinos, elephants, hippopotamus, nyala and cheetah. State-of-the-art wellness facilities include a yoga pavilion and holistic spa. Children of all ages are welcome and a range of fun, educational activities ensures an unforgettable family adventure.

Idyllic Riverside Retreat

Set amidst enormous trees on the banks of the Sand River, Singita Ebony Lodge boasts 12 luxurious antique filled suites each with a plunge pool, extensive glass windows and outdoor pavilion decks suspended over the river. Offering a contemporary take on classic safari experiences, you will discover a luxurious wilderness experience of the highest order. Catch glimpses of wildlife while cooling off in the infinity-edged swimming pool, enjoy a relaxing massage under the shade of a tree and dine on epicurean cuisine. A secluded, exclusive use, fully staffed private villa is also available and offers two well appointed family suites.
