Safari in The Serengeti National Park in Sheer Luxury Experience

The vast plains of the Serengeti provide the backdrop for a memorable African luxury safari and a unique chance to see the great migration

Introduction

Proclaimed by many as the ultimate safari destination, the Serengeti is a UNESCO world heritage site made up of 1.5 million hectares (nearly 5800 miles) of savanna. Its grassy plains are the richest grazing grounds in Africa and are home to the biggest herds and highest concentration of predators, including up to 4000 lions! The region is best known for the Great Migration, an incredible spectacle of up to 2 million wildebeest, as well as hundreds of thousands of zebras, impala and gazelles leaping across the plains in search of food and water. Our Serengeti safaris take place in Grumeti, a 350,000-acre private game reserve right on the migratory corridor on the north west border of Serengeti National Park. This lush region is typified by rolling hills, woodlands and rivers. Each of our luxury lodges has its own unique setting. We encourage you to spend a few nights at each in order to get the full Grumeti experience.  Game viewing is sensational year-round- expect to see aardvarks, giraffes, jackals, mongoose, crocodiles, monitor lizard, and many primates including baboons, colobus monkeys and over 500 species of bird.
